Steven Thiruneelakandan (Steven Thiru) graduated in 1990 from the University of Leicester (LL.B. (Hons)). He was admitted to the English Bar at Middle Temple in 1991 and the High Court of Malaya as an Advocate and Solicitor in 1992. He also holds a Masters in Laws degree from the University of Malaya.
